The Mobile World Congress, held in Barcelona at the end of February, is the world’s largest gathering of mobile technology, with almost all major telecommunications companies holding conferences and announcing new products at the exhibition.
Questioned by our colleagues The Verge, The ZTE spokesperson announced the cancelation of their expected conference at MWC 2020.“We tend to be an overly courteous company, and simply don’t want to make people uncomfortable,” explains the Speaker to The Verge. Obviously, the Chinese group believes that the presence of its employees at the show is likely to displease visitors.
ZTE also discusses the difficulties in obtaining a visa and traveling from China to the rest of the world. To date, 28 airlines have taken steps to stem the spread of the epidemic outside of China. For example, flights to Chinese soil are suspended by most airlines. Some countries, including Russia, have even decided to close their borders with Chinese nationals.

the LG spokesperson said to The Verge
. “In lieu of its participation in MWC, LG will be holding separate events in the near future to announce its 2020 mobile products,”
