Night School Studio and MWM Interactive unveil OXENFREE II: Lost Signals

Independent video game developer Night School Studio and publisher MWM Interactive have unveiled OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning narrative adventure game OXENFREE.

Five years after the events of the first installment, OXENFREE II: Lost Signals features an all-new cast of characters for a supernatural mystery thriller that they will shape through the choices they make. A first trailer for OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, was revealed Yesterday at the Nintendo Indie World Showcase.

“Words cannot begin to express how happy I am to finally talk about OXENFREE II: Lost Signals,” said Sean Krankel, co-founder and studio director at Night School Studio. “OXENFREE is such a special game to us, and it has been an incredible experience to revisit this world. We’re eager to welcome our players back while inviting newcomers to embark on an adventure with an entirely new cast of characters that retains the weird, heartfelt, and personalized experience of the original.”

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals is a player-driven narrative game that follows the story of Riley, an environmental researcher who returns to her hometown of Camena to investigate mysterious radio frequency signals that are disrupting the town’s electronics and stumbles upon ghostly events.

OXENFREE II: Lost Signals will provide players with an exciting and original story as they immerse themselves in a paranormal mystery. With Night School Studio’s signature realistic dialogue system, players will be able to shape their experiences in a deep and personal way.
